Early Entrepreneurial Dreams
   

As a young girl, I often dreamed of owning a business. My ideas evolved over time—from an architecture firm to a hair salon, a bakery, and many other short-lived entrepreneurial ventures.

Discovering Zazzle
   

While earning my bachelor’s degree at Northwest Missouri State University, I discovered Zazzle.com, an online marketplace where designers and customers can create and sell print-on-demand products made by independent manufacturers.

Launching LuvPatPrints
   

In late August 2016, I launched LuvPatPrints, a Zazzle store featuring my original pattern designs. The store offers a variety of products, including home décor, monogrammed gifts, and wrapping paper.

Working Toward Self-Employment
   

Achieving the dream of self-employment takes time. As I continue to grow my store, I have supported my journey by working in a variety of administrative support roles in both the private and public sectors. I currently work as a clerk for the Internal Revenue Service.

Beyond the Business
